Jailers: The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office is now accepting applications for jail staff. I will be hiring two to three jailers. The jail staff works 12-hour shifts, four nights on and four nights off. The salary rate for probationary corrections officer is $20.00 an hour with $2.00 an hour differential night shift pays($22.00hr.) plus benefits. Our benefit package includes state retirement, paid vacation and sick hours, Blue Cross and Blue Shield health package. Successful candidates will attend a one week Kansas Jail Academy.
